Shelf2Shelf is a local marketplace for buying and selling in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. List something you no longer need, or find something nearby without paying to ship it across the country.
How it works
Buying. Browse or search, then buy outright or bid in an auction. Pay securely by card — payments are processed by Stripe and we never see your card number. Arrange pickup with the seller, or have the item shipped or delivered where the seller offers it.
Selling. Create an account, connect a payout account, and list your item with photographs and an honest description. Choose a fixed price or run an auction. When it sells you are paid to your connected account, less our 0% commission.
Why local
Shipping is expensive and slow for the kind of things most people actually want to sell — furniture, tools, bikes, instruments, household goods. Keeping it local means lower cost, no packaging, and you can see the item before you commit.
Buying and selling safely
- Keep payment and messages on Shelf2Shelf — that is what lets us help if something goes wrong.
- Read the description and photographs before you bid. Bids are binding.
- Meet in a public place for pickup where you can, and inspect the item.
- Report anything that looks fraudulent or unsafe to support@shelf2shelf.com.
Our role
We run the marketplace; we are not the seller. The sale itself is between the buyer and the seller. If an item never arrives or is not as described, our Refund & Dispute Policy explains what we can do about it.
